Using Instructions
Surface Preparation
-
Concrete surface must be clean and hard, free from grease, dust, cement mortar, concrete debris and other impurities
-
Seal all cracks and joints on the surface before construction
Mixing
Slowly pour the Liquid mixture into the Dry mixture; mix well until the appropriate consistency is achieved for application
Mixing Formula:
Bonding Slurry:
-
Liquid mixture: 1 liter of Acobond A33 mixed with 4 to 5 kg of cement
-
Dry mixture: A little clean sand can be added to create roughness and increase adhesion
Mortar mixture for waterproofing and repairing:
-
Liquid mixture: 1 liter of Acobond A33 diluted with 2 or 3 liters of clean water
-
Dry mixture: 1 part cement + 3 parts clean sand (sand must be sieved to remove impurities and mud)
Construction
Bonding concrete:
Sweep a layer of bonding slurry with Acobond A33 additive onto the old concrete surface with a brush or broom; then wait for the layer of bonding mortar to start to dry before applying a new concrete layer
Repairing or waterproofing mortar:
Sweep a layer of bonding slurry with Acobond A33 additive; wait for the layer of bonding mortar to start to dry, apply a layer of mortar with Acobond A33 additive onto the bonding mortar layer, then use a trowel to smooth the surface
Note
-
In case the construction area is too large, it should be divided into small areas for construction
-
The previously dried bonding slurry layer must be re-applied
-
The surface of the waterproof mortar layer must be maintained when it begins to dry to avoid premature evaporation due to temperature, leading to surface cracking
