Using Instructions

Surface Preparation

  • Clean the construction surface, vacuum and blow the dust by an air compressor. When constructing, the surface must not be wet and be absolutely free of dust, debris, grease, paint

  • Smooth surfaces must be roughened by mechanical methods

  • Rusty iron and steel surfaces must be cleaned by adchem Ferriclean rust remover / sandpaper / wire brush

Mixing

  • Pour component B into the can of component A. Mix well and scrape the can cleanly and mix until when the colors are combined. If the area is small, mix enough material to use each time with the mixing ratio of components A and B is 2:1

  • The working time of Acobond E68 is about 40 minutes, it can be increased or decreased slightly depend on the environment temperature

Construction

Anchoring steel into concrete:

The diameter of the anchor hole which be drilled should be 4.0mm larger than the diameter of the metal anchored into the concrete. The depth of the hole should be 10 to 15 times the diameter of the object being anchored. Fill the anchor hole with Acobond E68, then insert the anchor rod into the hole and then fill out the anchor hole

Filling and repairing concrete crack:

Widen and cut the crack into a V shape, clean the crack. Fill the crack with Acobond E68 glue by a plastic or steel putty knife, then use a trowel to smooth the glue surface

Pasting tile and stone:

Clean the concrete surface before apply Acobond E68 glue to the concrete surface and pull with a notched trowel, then apply the tile or stone on top

Note

  • Do not add solvent when using

  • Mix each batch completely

  • Do not apply when concrete temperature is below 5°C within 24 hours

  • Do not use to fill cracks with water pressure

  • Always wear gloves when applying

  • Be careful of the heat emission from excess Acobond E68 mixture during curing

Cleaning regulations

  • Clean equipment and tools immediately after use with Toluene or Xylene

  • Keep away from flammable areas when cleaning

  • Avoid inhalation of solvent fumes and skin contact

  • Wash hands with soap and clean water after use
