Acoflex 100 is a 2-component waterproofing membrane based on cement and improved Polymer with an elongation at break of about 60%, applied to waterproofing exposed areas, old or new construction works. After construction and curing, it will form a tough, flexible and elastic waterproofing membrane for a long time. It is suitable for construction by roller, brush or sprayer

Safety and Health Protection

  • Wear gloves, mask and goggles when applying

  • Acoflex 100 contains alkalis so avoid contact with skin and eyes: If splashed into eyes: Rinse eyes with clean water for at least 10 minutes and seek medical attention promptly; If on skin: Wash immediately with soap and clean water

Using Instructions

Surface Preparation

  • The concrete surface must be clean, level and hard to allow for uniform thickness application

  • Remove all contaminants that will affect the adhesion of Acoflex 100 such as grease, curing agents and concrete chips, etc.

  • The best cleaning method for large surfaces is by grinding and washing with a pressure washer

  • Defective surfaces must be repaired before application

  • Large cracks and voids must be filled with repair mortar

Mixing

Pour liquid component (A) into a clean container. Then slowly add powder component (B) and mix continuously with a low-speed mixer equipped with a mixing paddle for 2-3 minutes until the mixture is homogeneous and lump-free; then let it rest for a few minutes to reduce the foam before applying

Construction

  • Moisten the entire surface with clean water before application but do not allow standing water

  • While the surface is still damp, apply the first layer of Acoflex 100 evenly. Allow the first layer to dry and form a film, then continue to apply the second layer, interlacing with the first layer. The curing time of Acoflex 100 depends on the weather and temperature of the construction (about 3 - 4 hours)

  • No need to moisten the surface when applying the second layer

  • Apply at least two layers to achieve the desired thickness and waterproofing effect

  • Apply layers for water tanks

Note

  • Avoid construction when it is raining

  • Avoid rain and water during the curing period of the membrane

  • Do not mix the mixture more than 15 minutes before construction

  • Do not add cement or other substances when using

Cleaning Tools

Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with clean water
