Acomix Super 100
Concrete Water Reducer and Retarder
Product Description
Acomix Super 100 is new high range water reducing super plasticiser developed to meet class D&G type admixtures. It is greatly reduces the amount of water normally required to impart workability to a concrete mix, while also reducing the rate of slump loss associated with that effect
Features and Benefits
Acomix Super 100 imparts the following benefits to concrete producers:
-
Lowers water / cement ratio
-
Increases the workability time of the concrete mix
-
Higher, earlier compressive strength can be achieved from water
-
Quicker and easier mix placement
-
Enables lowering of cement content of a given mix while maintaining required strength
Safety Precautions
-
Rubber gloves should be worn when handling Acomix Super 100
-
Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin In case of contact, flush eyes with plenty of clean water for at least 10 minutes and get prompt medical attention; wash skin thoroughly with soap and water - Keep out of reach of children

Uses
Precast / Prestressed
-
Precast and prestressed concrete producers can increase production by cutting mold cycle time
-
Acomix Super 100 extends the workability of the mix by increasing the time and the concrete mix will remain liquid
Plasticity
The plasticity Acomix Super 100 imparts to a concrete mix produces a very even flow during form filling. When the forms are stripped away, the concrete appears smoother than a standard mix with fewer cavities that create a honeycombed finish
Ready Mix
In ready mix applications, Acomix Super 100 improves flow, extends workability, and slump loss for a longer period of time in concrete mix placement. Concrete remains cohesive and retains its water / cement ratio without bleeding, segregation, or strength reduction. Concrete prepared with Acomix Super 100 minimizes the work required for placement in closely spaced areas, large bay areas, floor slabs, and similar structures
Directions For Use
Mixing Procedures
1. Mix concrete by 3 steps:
a. Mix cement and sand homogeneously at dry stage
b. Add crushed stone to mixture of sand and cement, and then mix them up
c. Dilute SUPER 100 with gauging water and mix into homogenous liquid. Add this liquid to above dry mixture at one time
2. The mixing time is calculated from adding liquid to dry mixture. This time depends on volume of mixer and weight of materials. If the volume of mixer is big, weight of materials is much, the mixing time will be longer and in vice versa. But the maximum mixing time is not over 180s with mixer of 240 liters volume
3. After finish mixing time, fresh concrete has to be placed immediately to structures
4. If due to some technical reasons, finished mixing fresh concrete is interrupted for several minutes, and then this mixture needs remixing before placing
