Acotop HF
Mineral-based Concrete Floor Hardener
Product Description
Acotop HF is a non-metallic mineral-based concrete floor hardener, specially used to reinforce concrete floor surfaces, resist impact and prevent fish scales and dust. It is used to spread dry on damp concrete surfaces and smooth with a floor trowel. After drying, it will form a hard shell covering the concrete surface, which is resistant to impact, abrasion and limits the penetration of water, chemicals and grease
Application
-
Factories, warehouses, supermarkets, parking lots, stations
-
Vehicle maintenance centers, distribution centers
-
Power plants and all heavy-duty concrete floor surfaces
Feature
-
Very hard finishing surface
-
Flat finishing surface
-
Low water absorption
-
High tensile, compressive and flexural strength
-
Abrasion resistance is 400 times higher than that of conventional concrete floor
-
Impact resistance is 4-5 times higher than that of conventional concrete floor
Advantage
-
Increases impact resistance and abrasion resistance

Construction
-
Acotop HF is applied by spreading evenly by hand or with specialized equipment onto the fresh concrete surface and is divided into 2 construction stages with a thickness of 3-5 mm
First period:
-
After the concrete begins to set and is leveled. Use your hands to spread 2/3 of the designed amount of Acotop HF evenly onto the damp concrete surface. After Acotop HF absorbs water on the concrete surface, use a floor trowel to perform preliminary troweling. Do not add water to the concrete floor surface when troweling
Second period:
-
Spread the second layer of 1/3 of the remaining Acotop HF evenly by hand immediately after troweling the first layer; continue troweling, the number of trowelings depends on whether you want a smooth or rough surface.
-
The surface has to be really smooth, the concrete is completely dry before troweling the last layer; at this time, the trowel blade is lowered flat and horizontal to the surface.
-
Do not add water to the surface of the constructed floor because it will affect the color and characteristics of the product.
Maintenance
The floor surface must be maintained to avoid premature water loss which will lead to surface erosion by using Acoseal & Cure or covering with plastic sheeting. Maintenance should not be done by watering the floor surface
Note
-
Do not apply to concrete floors containing Calcium Chloride additives
-
Do not apply to concrete surfaces containing more than 3% air bubbles
-
Calculate the amount of material needed for the area to be worked on in a day
-
Use up all materials immediately after opening the bag
-
Do not mix other chemicals or cement during construction
