Product Description

Floorseal SH320 is a VOC free, environmentally friendly water based lithium silicate conjunction with polymer and silane liquid applied concrete floor hardener. This product is designed for treatment of uncovered concrete floor surfaces that will be exposed to medium to high volume of rubber wheeled and pedestrian traffic. The floors is after applied, Floorseal SH320 penetrates deeply into the surface pores of concrete, reacts with the free lime, to produce water insoluble crystallization gel, that gel fills the pores of concrete to densify, harden, dustproof and sealed the surface against petroleum, dirt, water and other mild contaminants

Safety and Health Protection

  • Floorseal SH320 is alkaline and should not come into contact with skin or eyes. Avoid inhalation of any air born spray. Safety glasses, gloves and rubber boots should be worn. If contact with skin occurs wash off with clean water. If splashes to eyes occur wash immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice. Application Instructions

Surface Preparation

Existing cured concrete:

  • The concrete must be clean, free of dust and free from oil, grease and paint

  • Remove all contaminants and laitance from the concrete surfaces to assure maximum penetration
    Cracks and holes should be repaired using Acofix repair mortar system

New concrete:

The new concrete must be cured at least 72 hours. Remove any curing membrane or coating which may prevent Floorseal SH320 from penetration. For best results Floorseal SH320 should be used on concrete in seven days cured

Application

Apply one saturating coat of Floorseal SH320 by spraying, spread uniformly on concrete floor. The floor will absorb the solution within 1 hour. Apply the second when the surface completely absorbs the first coat. After the second coat has been dried, wash off with clean water and remove any residue and dried powder of Floorseal SH320 on the surface by cleaning machine. Failure to carry out the washing off stage may result in a surface sheen which can abrade during service and may be slippery in wet conditions

Polished concrete floor:

  • Waiting for Floorseal SH320 dries within 1 to 2 days. Use the professional floor polished machine; polish the floor with polish pad with different levels

  • After the floor is completely polished, clean the surface with clean water and vacuum cleaner

Limitations:

  • Only apply on concrete surfaces above 5°C

  • New concrete must be finished with a power trowel
